A long-standing Cottage supporter, he recently pledged one million dollars to the Reaching Higher Together Campaign to create the George L. Burtness Endowment in Nursing Education. This is a big boost to Cottage’s nursing scholarship program and will support promising nursing students who are committed to improving their education and skills to best care for their patients. It also assures Cottage’s commitment excellence and innovation in nursing education continues in perpetuity.
